KERBEDANZ is going to compete in the category of classical wristwatch to demonstrate its know-how and to confront with the best of its category. Maya, model of Kerbedanz, will combine the exclusivity of dial with the excellence of double barrel mechanical movement.The contest is under the supervision of the Horological Museum of Locle - Château des Monts. Its Honor Committee is chaired by astronaut Claude Nicollier.

Contest 2013 participating brands of are the followings: Chopard, Dodane, Fortis, Frédérique Constant, Greubel Forsey, F.P. Journe, Julien, Coudray, Urban Jürgensen, Kerbedanz, Laurent Ferrier, Leroy, Louis Moinet, MHVJ, Mühle-Glashütte, Roger Dubuis, Technotime, Tissot, Kari Voutilainen, an anonyme brand.

Kerbedanz manufacturers must prepare their piece for battle until 30 May 2013 and register at the Horological Museum of Locle - Château des Monts. Then the piece will undergo very strict tests: three sets of chronometric controls at the Besançon Observatory and at the Official Swiss Chronometer Control interrupted by a repeated shock test and exposure to magnetic fields.

The winner of 2013 will be announced in October 24, 2013 in Besançon, after expertly designed course to highlight the talents and spirit of conquest.
